Bae Suzy explained that she wanted to show her gratitude to the staff who worked hard for the drama, and that she personally wrapped the gifts like Santa Claus.

“I thoroughly prepared gifts for the staff because I didn’t know how the shooting would turn out,” she said. “But I wanted to wrap it like Santa because it’s Christmas,” she furthered.

However, she also admitted that she did not give any scarf to Yang Se Jong, which made him jokingly complain. She said that she thought he would not like it, and that she would give him something else later.

Bae Suzy also talked about how she enjoyed playing a character who was rebellious and outspoken, unlike her usual image. She said that she had fun swearing and smoking on screen, which were elements that showed Doona’s loneliness and depression.

“The smoking part is an element that shows how lonely and depressed Doona feels and was very important,” she explained, adding that she also finds it “fun and exhilarating” that Lee Doona swears and being unruly.

Bae Suzy debuted as a member of Miss A in 2010, but later focused on her acting career. She has starred in several popular dramas such as ‘Dream High’, ‘While You Were Sleeping’, ‘Vagabond’, and ‘Start-Up’.
